Artist Dave Rapoza has shared the following image based on FromSoftware’s hardcore RPG, Dark Souls, giving us a glimpse at what a 2D 16bit version of it would look like. Dark Souls 2D looks very similar to Castlevania and Ghost n Goblins, something that intrigues us. It looks cool and since July is the slowest gaming month, we’re pretty sure that most of you will find it interesting!
In similar news, DeviantArt’s member ‘Cyangmou’ had created another 2D vision of Dark Souls. This one is inspired by Diablo and uses an isometric viewpoint. And since we never shared Cyangmou’s image, we believe it’s appropriate to include it here.
